Game Brief

So here's another re-release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2; yawn. But why does this version get its' very own section in our Game Database? For quite a few reasons actually (and one very big reason). Where the Virtual Console version is a straight port of the original game, this version supports 60hz gameplay, has an additional leaderboard and achievements system and is also presented in wonderful HD! For the first time in any Sonic game, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the X-Box Live Arcade also features online 2 player races. Does that sweeten the deal any better?
