Game Brief

'Sonic Rush' is the first Sonic game created for the Nintendo DS. Unlike 'Sonic DS' (the demo seen at E3) which uses the second screen for the 'touch' gameplay, the second screen in 'Sonic Rush' is used for a wider view of the playing field. 'Sonic Rush' is very similar to Sonic Advance except now sprites aren't used for the characters. All the characters in 'Sonic Rush' are polygonal which means you play a 3D character on a 2D background, an interesting mix. Finally, 'Sonic Rush' introduces us to a brand new character: Blaze The Cat. Blaze is the queen of another world and the protector of the Sol Emeralds (obviously very similar to the Chaos Emeralds).
