This was the early version of Sonic 2 which included many levels which never appeared in the final version, Hidden Palace Zone, Dust Hill Zone, Wood Zone and Genocide City. All the levels were missing things aswell. The main title wasn't animated like the one on Sonic 2 and shows Sonic and Tails in a different pose. The cheat menu opened the same as the one in Sonic 1 aswell (up, down, left, right, A + start)!
