Very similar to Sonic 1 (8 Bit) as this game is actually an alternative Sonic 2 (to the one on the Megadrive/Genesis) made for the 2 8 bit consoles, the Master System and the Game Gear. Unlike Sonic 1 (8 Bit) all the levels are new with totally new level graphics and new level names.
