There isn't much of a difference between Sonic Beta and normal Sonic apart from the backgrounds in the Green Hill and Marble Zone were different and the Springyard and Scrap Brain Zone were Sparkling and Clock Work Zone. The Clock Work Zone came up as the Clock Ork Zone on the title card aswell.
