Sonic Adventure 2 marked a very important turn in Sonic gaming. Not only was it the second 'official' 3D Sonic game but it actually managed to improve on Sonic Adventure. Unfortunately the adventure stages were scrapped but with such great features like a refined engine, playing as either the dark side or the hero side, grinding, incredibly fast-paced action stages, loads more mini-games and a better Chao Garden, why would you complain? This was a fantastic and revolutionary release for its' time and successfully gives Sonic's tenth birthday the recognition it needed.
