Name: Carrie the Hedgehog What's your earliest Sonic memory? First Playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. That was the first time I ever saw Sonic. Who's your favourite Sonic character? Silver and Shadow, It's a tie. What makes this character so special to you? They're just awesome characters. I don't exactly know why I like them so much. I just do. What continues to drive you to continue to add to your site? I just love webmastering and graphic designing, and I'm a huge Sonic fan. It's what I enjoy doing in my free time. Is there a particular moment in your website's history that means a lot to you? Making it through the Sonic Stadium Nominations. I barely was able to get Ice Cap back up before the judging started and Ice Cap made it through. If you could have any one thing in a new Sonic game, what would it be? I still love the Chao Gardens. They should really bring them back in the new games. |

Name: Chris Gavrielidis, "Shadow Master" Age: 15 Location: East Coast, United States What's your earliest Sonic memory?: My earliest Sonic memory was Christmas 99' when my dad got me a Sega Dreamcast along with Sonic Adventure, my first Sonic game ever, and that was probably the first time I ever heard about Sonic, actually. Who's your favourite Sonic character?: Well Shadow of course. =P What makes this character so special to you?: I guess its his extreme rebellious nature, while man-made, he still has a heart and has emotion and yet he lives his own life and goes his own way. He's much different from any other character and he has the most evolved history of any of the other characters, making him so unique. His style appeals to me most, especially his attitude and his outlook on life and those around him. What continues to drive you to continue to add to your site?: What continues to drive me to add to SHQ is the idea that I'm contributing to the fan base of one of the greatest series of games that has been out there since the early 90's, and that there are so few Shadow fan sites as compared to Sonic fan sites. Is there a particular moment in your website's history that means a lot to you?: Well one moment was the announcement that I won an award in the 2005 SSA. That really inspired me to keep going and to put my best effort into SHQ. Had I not won that, I might not have had so much of a drive to keep going, since the site was in its early stages. If you could have any one thing in a new Sonic game, what would it be?: Hmm, one thing I would definitely want for the next Sonic game would for it to have a really long and involved storyline, and gameplay that was completely unique to each character, instead of the same stages. |

What continues to drive you to continue to add to your site?: Erm well I don't want to let my mebers down. Is there a particular moment in your website's history that means a lot to you?: When we opened. XD If you could have any one thing in a new Sonic game, what would it be?: Super forms in levels back. |

Name: David Alan Conway (AKA, 'Ultima' or 'UltimaHedgie') Age: 16 Location: Wisconsin (Midwest), United States What's your earliest Sonic memory? I'd have to say watching one of those early Sonic cartoons. I don't care much for them anymore, but I do remember watching them back in the day. As I recall, Tails and Sally (regrettably, I had thought she was Knuckles at the time...) got mind-controlled by Robotnik. I don't really recall the whole thing, though, as I was probably about 3 or 4 years old at the time. Who's your favourite Sonic character? Shadow, definitely. What makes this character so special to you? Shadow is a unique character. He's just got that mysterious personality, and I myself have a love for mysterious things. Shadow is, overall, a loner, and that seems to add another flare to the ever growing flame. Sure, he's got his downsides. His personalities in Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog hurt him more than they helped, but Shadow the Hedgehog still helped by it's ending, ultimately bringing him back to where he was in Sonic Adventure 2. I mostly began liking Shadow during Sonic Adventure 2, but unlike other people, I actually stuck to the character afterwards. He's just, I don't know... always appealed greatly to me. The development of my site is actually what started my liking for the character, though, ironically. What continues to drive you to continue to add to your site? Mainly it's a development of my skills. My skills in web building have increased greatly, and I am interested in pursuing a career in that area. Furthermore is simply the fact that I enjoy doing it. It's fun to try and keep up with rival sites, such as Shadow Flash and Shadows HQ, but also to try and build up and contribute to this very large, yet very awkward fandom of ours. Is there a particular moment in your website's history that means a lot to you? I'd have to say first developing it. Obviously it was this little n00bish site on Geocities, as most sites are, but the development of the initial site (which wasn't even strictly Sonic-related at first) is what ultimately led me into liking Shadow better, and progress of the site got me into a more professional state online. Many 'n00bs' online simply are new to the internet, and don't know how things work. I was like that, and the site helped me to develop further. If you could have any one thing in a new Sonic game, what would it be? That's a rather hard question, actually... There are a grand number of things I'd like to see. One such thing relates to being able to play a game that most of the fans enjoy (other than myself, as I seem to do that), but I'd say the return of Fang. Fang has a nice, thrilling personality, and would be fit for the series, I think. Considering Shadow's new role in the series (as a government agent), I think he'd make a nice enemy of Shadow, Rouge, and Omega. Actually, he's the only character from the classics that I see fit for the series... then again, Chaotix got revamps, so others could, as well. |

Name: Greg Arnold Age: 15 Location: United States of America What's your earliest Sonic memory? Hmm oh yeah playing Sonic 1 at my cousins house, I didn't play exactly because the minute I moved forward I died but yes that's my earliest memory. Who's your favourite Sonic character? That's tough, I'm going to have to say Sonic because he's a down to earth guy and fun to play as. What makes this character so special to you? I grew up with him, guess you could say I looked up to the little guy when I was younger. What continues to drive you to continue to add to your site? The more fans come the more stuff I put up to keep them coming back, and keeping up with other sites, also I just enjoy updating things. Is there a particular moment in your website's history that means a lot to you? The day I completely redesigned the entire site, and renamed it Blue Blur Central. If you could have any one thing in a new Sonic game, what would it be? I would like to have the ability to create your own character in some side missions to develop his skills, kind of like chao breeding only you're not a chao and can choose from different species of animals. |

What's your earliest Sonic memory? The earliest thing I can remember is watching the old Sonic TV show on Fox. Who's your favorite Sonic character? Honestly, I have no favorite character. All Sonic characters are likeable in some way. (Omochao is the only exception to this.) However, if I had to pick one, I would have to say Shadow and Chaos 0. What makes this character so special to you? When I was growing up, I was always the rebel. While my friends wanted to be the heroes, I was far too bizzy trying to be the villain. Both Shadow and Chaos 0 are villains in the Sonic games. Chao 0 also inspired the Neutral Chaos Chao. Which hints how I got my name. What continues to drive you to continue to add to your site? Two words, the viewers. Without them we would have no reason to create websites and buss our butts trying to provide the best of the best content. Honestly though, I think it's more of trying to be better than all the other sites. Think about it, why work toward being the worst when you can be better than all the rest? Is there a particular moment in your website's history that means a lot to you? The day that I was offered the site. My friend and I were talking and he offered me a host on TSR Online and a fully working layout with a news manager. If he would have never done this, Sonic Flame wouldn't be here today. If you could have any one thing in a new Sonic game, what would it be? I think longer story lines that really capture the player and get he/she involved would be a big improvement. The return of the Chao Garden wouldn't hurt either, after all, that's how Chao Network got started. (Although we don't go by Chao Network any longer.) |
